WaaHoo! Vacation

So, summer vacation has come and gone again. We usually get one nice family vacation a year so we try to make enough memories to last us through the winter. This year we went to Michigan for the Avery family reunion. We made so many fun memories we could (but hopefully don't) go for many years without another vacation.

We started the vacation with the boys first airplane ride. I was so nervous! Luckily, this is how it went.

Too bad the ride home wasn't as smooth. Ashton, threw a bit of a fit. And although the flight attendent was very firm, Ashton pretty much didn't care that he should be wearing a seat belt. They really should make those seat belts a little more difficult. I think that if a two year old can figure out how to unlatch it, the directions they give on every flight on how to work your seatbelt are a little pointless.

Then Aidan got a little air sick upon landing in Vegas and puked. Luckily, Daddy was there to catch most of it. Now when asked about the airplane ride he always starts with "I puke" and the actions to go along with it (complete with gagging noise).

And now, for my from the sky picture. I have to take one on every vacation that a flight is involved.

In Michigan our days were filled with sand and sun. Our first day there we went to the sand dunes and had so much riding uncle Nolans Rhino. I know I look like a total dork. The sunburn line on my forehead looked even worse but, at least my part wasn't burned. The boys also had a blast playing in the cold Lake Michigan water.

The boys LOVE all of their cousins.

The second day, we went to Michigan Adventure, an amusement park. The boys were not on their best behavior. The following picture explains it all.

I don't know how well you can see them but, the boys are both screaming their heads off. What little stinkers.

Day three, we went to lake Michigan and had a boat that we spent time tubing behind. It was so much fun, I will always remember Teva and myself, laughing like little kids. It was great.

I am always so amazed at how well Jasons family all get along. We had 28 people spending almost every minute of three days together and there were no fights. We love you all so much. Thank you so much to Nathan and Holly. It was such a fun reunion. I gladly hand over the reward for best reunion to You! We only wished we could have stayed longer. We can't wait for our next one in two years. So looking forward to it, Nolan and Teva.

Here are some other pictures of our time in Michigan.
