Meet the Monkeys

For my first blog ever I decided to just get it out of my system and let the proud mommy in me take over. I am still constantly amazed that these two sweet, wonderful little boys are mine. For all of you who are reading this blog (probably just you, Cass). I assume that you know Jason and myself but, maybe I can share something new about Aidan and Ashton. So my first blog is dedicated to the boys and I promise that future blogs won't be so sappy.

Since the day the boys have come home from the hospital people have been asking us if they are identical. To which I respond, "Umm, are you looking at them?" (they have always looked so different) So for those of you out there that can't tell them apart, here are some of their many differences.

AIDAN COLE AVERY

Aidan is the first born (by one minute). I think that he would like to think that he is in control but, we all know that Ashton is the boss around here. Aidan has many nicknames, some of them are MayMay, Moosey, Aiya (his name for himself) and Ainan (Ashy's name for him). He is the most loving baby. He always lets mommy snuggle up to him and he never gets sick of it. I can kiss on him for long periods of time. I love that!
He loves his brother and daddy so much, he really loves to wrestle with them. He is very social and makes friends very easily.
Aidan is also very hot-tempered. He loves cars and he hates to share them. He also can throw a tantrum to rival the best tantrum throwers.

ASHTON JACE AVERY

Ashton is such a little sweet-heart. He is very nice and kind. He is a great sharer. He is daddy's little mini-me. Some of his numerous nicknames are...Ashy, Smooshie, Moosher, Mashey etc. He loves to give wugs (hugs). Even though he is so loving he is also very shy in public.

Ashy can be very strong willed. If he decides something there is no changing his mind. If he and Aidan have a disagreement he almost surely wins.

Both of my sweet potatoes are awesome they keep life exciting. And now I stop with the sappiness. I can't help but feel like I just wrote personal ads for my boys. Maybe I'll print this blog off so that in thirty years if I am trying to marry them off I'll be all prepared.

First blog ever, completed!

I can't tell you how HAPPY this blog makes us! It makes us feel soo much closer and that we won't miss out on the little things.

The boys are sooo big! We were stunned at how old they look! And it is so nice to kind of learn a little more about their personalities. I am one that will probably take a while to get the names and faces right.. Thanks! AND HURRAY ON THE BLOG!!!!
